The San Diego County Seniors Golf Association was established on Augusts 12, 1951. It’s  open to any person, male or female 55 years of age or older, who is resident of San Diego County. Its two objectives are: 1) To hold a tournament once a month on a wide variety of County golf courses; and 2) To have a general meeting each year for the purpose of awarding prizes. Through these objectives, the Association aims at fostering and promoting the spirit of camaraderie and good fellowship among senior golfers residing in the county.

The Honorary Life Member category is for those who are 80 years of age and have been associated with the organization for 15 years. Honorary Life Members pay no dues and are accorded all the privileges of the Association.

The Association normally holds one golf tournament per month. Tournaments are played under USGA Rules, as modified by the golf course or SDCSGA Rules.
